Bucks County Bicycle CompanyExtreme Make Over House Edition
In hopes of making life better for her family, Marynoel Kilgallon bought a home that she thought would be an easy “fixer upper.” Soon after she started her own remodel, she found termite damage which inevitably made the house unsafe for habitation. While living in her parents’ dining room with her four boys, Marynoel was working two jobs to pay the mortgage, insurance and electricity for the house, which made it near impossible to save money for the reconstruction of the termite damaged house. Marynoel could only hope for a miracle that would move their family into their own home.

As Extreme Makeover: Home Edition made the trek across the United States, Pennsylvania was the next stop. In the Philadelphia suburb of Levittown, PA, the Kilgallon family’s wish for a livable home was granted.

The news spread quickly throughout the neighborhood and it wasn’t long before Scott Wueschinski, owner of Bucks County Bicycle Company, got word of the project. “I knew I had to get involved, the family was in the perfect location for safe family riding,” said Wueschinski.

As construction continued throughout the week long project, Ty and the team of designers worked to make the house perfect for the family. Bucks County Bicycle Company, teamed with Fuji, contributed with the donation of new bikes and helmets for the four boys to enjoy in their new neighborhood. “We work every day to make sure families can enjoy the outdoors with the best bikes and the safest helmets. We wanted to do our part for the family, and safe riding is what we know,” said Wueschinski.

The show aired on May 6th on ABC during Season 4 of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Read the full story on the Fuji Bikes web site.
